Imagination as an Escape: When the mind builds its own world

Creating mental pictures is imagination. We have the remote control to turn that switch on or off; our thoughts can be positive or negative. We can create anything we desire, in both art and life. Our sky can be pink or blue. After all, it is our creative world. Before there was art, there was a thought. Before every creation, there is imagination. Every change, every choice begins there. We were once told to stop daydreaming in school, yet without dreams and imagination, none of the technology or scientific innovations we have today would exist.

Every dress that graced the runway lived first in a designer's imagination, starting its life in the designer's sketchbook. What we want to become, we can, if we truly manifest. Positive thoughts have the power to change not only our lives but also the lives of those around us.

Every bookworm steps into an imaginary world while holding a book, a world crafted by the author. The beauty lies in how both the reader and the writer interpret that world differently, each shaped by how their mind envisages the context of the book. Big props to all the poets and writers who chose to enter the imaginary world.

Children should be allowed to dream big, attempt trial and error, make mistakes and learn from them. Creative minds deserve encouragement from parents and teachers. Their world is small, but it overflows with colours, candies, lollipops and Halloween monsters.

My wish? A better world for Children, pollution-free air, boundless creativity and technology that makes it all happen.

Sometimes a quiet escape to our dream place through a book, movie or playtime with children can melt away the day's stress, and yes, it is so much fun too!

After creating all the wonderful spells and charms in the wizarding world, J.K.Rowling might one day step into Harry Potter's world herself. Maybe we all will. All it takes is a tiny spark of imagination and the confidence to believe that dreaming isn't crazy. Sweet dreams!

    2. Oh ya certainly. Never said that one should not dream. Better to die dreaming , trying and falling short is my personal opinion. But there are always the other options. As they say it's always choice.
