             Girl meets Boy

On a rainy day, the girl forgets her umbrella. She just finished her special classes and had some queries for the teacher, and all her friends had left home. She waits at the school lobby for the rain to stop. But that day, the rain would not stop pouring.

She decided to leave. 'So what, I will get wet. I can't wait forever. The rain certainly is not stopping!'When she left the building and got ready to take in the first few raindrops, she saw him holding his umbrella towards her. She blushed. It was her darling crush!

'Wow! It's the best day of my life,' she thought. Together, they started walking. His house was just a few houses away from hers. But they never left home together and never talked much except for a hi on days when they bumped into each other.

They walked, didn't talk. She loved the silence, and for the first time in life, silence was surreal. She understood how beautiful it felt to walk with one of her favourite people on earth in complete silence. It was indeed a walk to remember!

Rain meet

Her legs felt lighter. Is this how heaven felt? The sound of the raindrops falling on the umbrella, their footsteps, and his face glowing due to the street lights all felt unreal, otherworldly. 

She decided to talk about today's class, and how she loved his singing. He has won prizes at school for singing. She didn't know he talked so much. He was very silent at school. He was friendly and knew about everybody in class.

They reached their street. She was not disappointed. She knew she had a new friend, though she didn't know how this would turn out in future. She didn't care. They had reached her house. The rain almost stopped into a drizzle. She thanked him for the help. He smiled in return. That beautiful smile!!
