In memoriam..

In memory of..

For tho’ my lips may breathe adieu, I cannot think the thing farewell. Not a moment in my life goes by without thinking about you. You were my hero, the rock that kept us strong. You were always there for me when I needed you. You never lost the child in you. You were almost as excited as we were. Your lovely brown eyes spoke volumes. You did so much for us, but never complained. Your humbleness is what always made me feel grounded in the chaotic world. Even now, after 10 years, I still hear your voice, which is the one thing that gets me going. My life is never the same without you. The days we had and all the beautiful memories will forever be cherished. For though you are gone, you have never really left us. You always stay near, reminding us to be strong, brave and kind like you always were.

We did not get a chance to say goodbye. I am thankful to God for having granted the strength to write about you. I thought I could never muster the courage to write about you. God creates good people to do great things. Your life was short, but you taught us how to be strong, how to be brave even during tough times, never to give up. Thank you for being a great dad and human being and changing many lives! You will be missed!!

But in my spirit will I dwell,
And dream my dream, and hold it true;
For tho' my lips may breathe adieu,
I cannot think the thing farewell-by Alfred, Lord Tennyson

This blog is dedicated to all the loved ones that we lostπŸ™. They stay with us as memories, reminding us that life is worth living.  The footprint that our loved ones left behind is the compass for all of us. One day we will join them, but until then let's live it up!!πŸ™πŸ’ͺ

  1. More strength to you. Parents are the pillars around which we grow. The pain feels fresh even today , how many ever years it takes

    1. Thank you! True that. Parents are the only ones who will always see us as a child no matter how old we grow
