10 tips to wake up early feeling fresh everyday without an alarm




The way you feel the beginning of the day is how you will feel the entire day. The wakeup alarms are snoozed and snoozed. You feel you can sleep a little longer and the distance between the clock and the bed suddenly seems longer. And then when you finally wake up, it is too late and you already start feeling disappointed that you overslept. The day could have turned out better if only you woke up a little early thereby avoiding the hassle.


How to throw away your old habit into the trash and start waking up early?  

  • Exercise every day. Keep your body moving at least for a few hours every day. You can either work out in a gym or choose traditional methods like yoga and meditation. You can even enroll in dance classes if you have time and interest in it. But make sure you do some exercising either in the morning or in the evening so that when you go to bed you will feel tired and ready to hit the sack. 
  • Go to bed a little earlier than you usually do. Stop thinking about anything in bed. Do not use your mobile phones or laptops while in bed. Calm yourself and close your eyes. Lie down in a relaxed position, make yourself cozy in bed. Use clean bedsheets and blankets.
  • Eat healthy food rich with nutrients like nuts, fruits, and milk. In India, some people drink warm milk before bedtime to have a good night's sleep.  Avoid sugary foods which may reduce serotonin levels. 
  • Prepare your room to make it sleep-friendly. Pull down the blinds if you prefer the room to be darker. There are lots of good music out there which is soothing after a hectic day.
  • Don't bring your work home. Leave it safe and locked at the office as far as possible. When you come home, spend time with your family. Family and friends give you peace and happiness. Talk to them or hang out with a friend in the evening if time permits. 
                                     
  • Do things which you love to do as soon as you wake up like watering your plants, reading your favorite book or taking a nice and relaxed walk appreciating the cool early morning air. Do that something which you love to do in the morning so that you will be happy to wake up. Monday mornings will be a lot better after you start doing this.
  • Create a to-do list in your phone for the entire day so that when you start following a plan, your days will be so much better and things will get moving as you want them to and you can't wait to start your day.
  • Stay away from negative people who drain all your energy and make you feel exhausted and sick. Start hanging out with people who make you feel positive and special. The more positive you feel about yourself the more energy you will feel inside and the more active you will feel the entire day.
  • The quality of sleep is more important than quantity. Doctors say that an average adult requires 8 to 10 hours of sleep every day. Make sure you get to have an undisturbed sleep at night to wake up happy in the morning. 
  • Last but not least. Make sure you go to bed at the same time every day and try to wake up at the same time. Your body and mind will start adjusting to your schedule over time. Remember that it might take time but once you get habituated you won't even need an alarm.
