A ball of hope

Image
All Yarnaholics are welcome here๐Ÿ’— Needles, yarn, and a cup of tea—my perfect moment at any time of the day. I knit, so I am always armed with scissors, needles and a ball of yarn, so don't mess with me๐Ÿ˜› Untangling the tangled yarn needs a lot of patience, just like in life. We need patience when life throws us its ball of tangles. When you are a beginner, at first, you don't get it, but as you progress, the pattern starts to form, and you will get a hang of where it's all going.  Taking out the needles, grasping the yarn between your fingers, and twisting can unravel your problems even during your worst days. Is life a combination of knits and purls? A knit and a purl and a purl and a knit and then a knit and a knit and a purl and a purl. There are many ways to solve a particular problem, and each person has a different beginning of life. All that matters is that, in the end, we form that beautiful pattern of stockinette and garter stitch.  Some of my stash ๐Ÿ˜Š Each of us ...

White beauty!

A business which mostly depends on women’s labour and for which the end users are also women is indeed a beauty in itself.  Flowers like pu...

The Last sip...

Image
When I tasted the last sip of my tea this morning, I wanted to hold on to that moment forever. The last sip is often extra special and the tastiest. Just like all the great memories that come to an end one day, we kind of hold on to that last special minute, clinging to it, not wanting it to end. I felt the sour last sip when I said goodbye to a dear friend in the airport thinking when am I going to see her again. The last sip of many many expats right!! Final goodbyes, last days of school and college, the last moments with loved ones, it goes on... When I visited the temple last weekend, I just couldn't get enough of the Lingam.  I wanted to savour it until next time.                                            Let's hold on to all the great moments of life, savour every little detail of those beautiful moments with friends and family, and carry those positive feelings with...
